7th Congressional District Democratic Candidate Debate

The public is invited to learn more about the three 7thCongressional District Democratic candidates at a moderated debate. On July 25, the Burnett County Democrats will host candidates Chris Armstrong, Ginger Murray, and Fred Clark from, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm at the Siren High School Auditorium. Brenda Vinall-Mogel, Chair, Burnett County Democrats, will moderate the debate. This is your chance to learn about these candidates, what their issues and priorities are, and how their views align with your own.

The Wisconsin 7th Congressional District is one of 435 U.S. congressional districts, each with a population of about 710,000 individuals. Every district elects a representative, also called acongressman/congresswoman, to the U.S. House of Representatives for a two-year term.

Wisconsin’s 7th congressional district covers all or part of 26 counties in northwestern and central Wisconsin including Burnett, Polk, Douglas, St Croix, Washburn, & Ashland counties.  This is your opportunity to learn about who you want to represent you in the U.S. Congress when you vote in theprimary election August 11, 2026.  

This public event will be a structured discussion of each candidate’s background, their stance on important issues, and their answers to questions about how they plan to be the best candidate to represent the 7th Congressional District. There will be an opportunity for a public question and answer session as well.

Following the August primary, the General Election is November 3, 2026.  Take a few minutes to join us and hear directly from the candidates themselves, so you can cast your VOTE as an informed voter.
