“We cannot ignore our gift of the future.” — Jimmy Carter

As the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter relied on his personal values of service and kindness to lead our nation with grace. He became a global icon of peace and humanity until his death, at 100 years of age.

To honor him for a life well lived, the members of the Burnett County Democratic Party are proud to launch the President Jimmy Carter Memorial Scholarship.

What better way to uplift “our gift of the future” than to support the youth of our community as they become our leaders.
