SUMMARY:July 4th Parade
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Burnett County Democrats to celebrate July 4 as we participate in our local parades! Wear your BC Dem’s t-shirt\, a patriotic shirt\, hat\, a flag to carry\, etc. We will have our float refurbished and ready. You are welcome to walk with the BC Dem float in either parade\, or both. \nSiren Parade – Assemble at 11:00 am in the Siren Senior Center parking lot. The parade will start about 11:30; depends upon the end of other events scheduled on Main Street. Because of WI Hwy 35 construction\, the parade route has changed and will head south on Hwy 35.\n\nWebster Parade – the Webster parade begins at 1:30 pm. Assemble at 12:30 pm on Perch Street\, one block east of Hwy 35 and Main Street. The parade route follows Main Street throughout the town.

On July 25\, the Burnett County Democrats will host candidates Chris Armstrong\, Ginger Murray\, and Fred Clark from\, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm at the Siren High School Auditorium. Brenda Vinall-Mogel\, Chair\, Burnett County Democrats\, will moderate the debate. This is your chance to learn about these candidates\, what their issues and priorities are\, and how their views align with your own. \nThe Wisconsin 7th Congressional District is one of 435 U.S. congressional districts\, each with a population of about 710\,000 individuals. Every district elects a representative\, also called acongressman/congresswoman\, to the U.S. House of Representatives for a two-year term. \nWisconsin’s 7th congressional district covers all or part of 26 counties in northwestern and central Wisconsin including Burnett\, Polk\, Douglas\, St Croix\, Washburn\, & Ashland counties.  This is your opportunity to learn about who you want to represent you in the U.S. Congress when you vote in theprimary election August 11\, 2026.   \nThis public event will be a structured discussion of each candidate’s background\, their stance on important issues\, and their answers to questions about how they plan to be the best candidate to represent the 7th Congressional District.
