Hyper-Partisan Tom Tiffany

In the latest DrydenWire interview with our congressman Tom Tiffany, Ben looked a little sheepish as he seemed to be asking if Tiffany’s recent bill to make the Apostle Islands Seashore into a National Park might be an effort to bury his 2023 score of zero! with the League of Conservation Voters.

Increasingly, citizens have come to the conclusion that hyper-partisan, anti-environmental legislators grease the wheels for corporations to have their way with the land and water at our expense. Sadly, I think Tiffany tries to demonize people whose goal is to preserve and improve the environment rather than act in a bipartisan way that combines actions to protect our environment by building infrastructure and creating jobs. Like Trump, Tiffany’s rhetoric serves to split us into opposing factions. Tiffany’s hyper-partisan behavior indicates an unwillingness or inability to listen. Tiffany is less than ineffective in congress. He is dragging us down.
